GFC5000 Ornamental Bollard - Overview
The GFC5000 is a traditional ornamental bollard in galvanised steel with a cast iron cap and rings, built for pedestrian precincts, parks and building frontages that need a period-style vehicle deterrent. It is available in three fixing types, galvanised or powder-coated finishes, and with optional eyelets for chain linking.

What's the difference between the fixing options?
Concrete-in (ragged) versions are set into a 300mm below-ground socket for a permanent fixing, bolt-down (flanged) versions fix to existing hardstanding with 3 x M12 expanding bolts, and the removable version drops into a lockable socket so you can lift it out for occasional vehicle access.

It depends on the variant - the bolt-down option is available either including 3 x M12 expanding bolts or excluding them, so check which one you're ordering.

Yes. Order with one or two eyelets welded below the cap, and run a chain between bollards to close off a wider run.

The cap and rings are cast in malleable cast iron and welded onto a galvanised steel tube, so the whole bollard is protected against corrosion for outdoor use.

Both the concrete-in (ragged) fixing and the removable bollard's socket are set 300mm below ground.

The removable bollard drops into a below-ground socket and is available with a padlock (random or identical keying across multiple bollards), so it locks in place until vehicle access is needed.
