The Bowland Open Sided Cycle Shelter is a free-standing, open-sided shelter with a hot-dip galvanised steel frame and a curved 4mm PETG clear sheet roof. It is available in four lengths from 2m to 5m, each bolted down on flanged feet, and is designed for local authority, retail and workplace cycle parking. Cycle stands and extension bays are sold separately.

How many cycles will each size hold?

The 2m bay holds 4 to 5 cycles, 3m holds 8, 4m holds 10 and 5m holds 12. All lengths are 2890mm wide.

Are cycle stands included?

No. This SKU is the shelter frame and roof only. Cycle stands (Fin, Kirby Hoop, Sheffield or Transport) are sold separately, so you can pick the stand that suits your site.

What is the roof made from?

A curved 4mm PETG clear sheet, which lets daylight through while keeping the parking area beneath dry.

Does it come with the fixing bolts?

You can choose either option at checkout - each length is listed including or excluding the 8 x 16mm anchor bolts needed per flange plate.

Can I extend the shelter later?

Yes. Extension bays with a matching galvanised frame and PETG roof are available separately, so you can add length to an existing installation.

How long is the lead time?

10-15 working days, as this is a made-to-order line.

Does the shelter need a base or foundation?

It is fixed with bolt-down flanged feet (1224mm x 300mm x 8mm plates), so it needs a solid, level base such as concrete or paving to bolt into. Anchor bolts are not included in the base price.
