These are extension bays for the Leyton open-sided bike shelter, adding 1m to 5m of further bay length to an existing galvanised-roof Leyton shelter. Built to the same mild galvanised steel and galvanised sheet roof specification as the base shelter, each bay bolts onto the run to extend bike capacity. The base shelter is required and is sold separately.

Do I need to buy the base shelter as well?

Yes - this listing is for extension bays only. You need an existing Leyton galvanised-roof shelter, sold separately, to bolt the bays onto.

How much extra capacity does each bay add?

A 1m bay adds 2 bikes, up to a 5m bay adding 12 bikes, so the extension can be sized to the extra cycle parking needed.

Will the extension match my existing shelter?

Yes - the extension bays use the same mild galvanised steel frame and galvanised sheet roof as the base Leyton shelter, so the run looks continuous.

Do the extension bays include the fixing bolts?

Choose the version that includes bolts, or the excluding-bolts version if suitable fixings are already on site.

How long is the lead time?

Can I add more than one extension bay?

Yes - bays are supplied in 1m to 5m lengths and can be combined to extend a shelter as far as the site allows.

Is a clear-roof version available?

Yes - matching extension bays are also available with clear PETG cladding instead of the galvanised roof, for the PETG version of the shelter.
