What's the difference between the SG2 and SG1 Stratford shelters?

Both share the same galvanised steel frame and roof - the SG2 has solid clad doors for fully enclosed storage, while the SG1 has mesh doors that let you see the bikes inside.

How many bikes will each bay hold?

Capacity runs from 2 bikes in the 1m bay up to 12 bikes in the 5m bay, depending on the length you choose.

Can I add more cycle parking later?

Yes - a matching SG2 extension bay is sold separately and bolts onto the end of the shelter.

Are the clad doors lockable?

Yes, each bay has a lockable clad door (padlock not included) that fully encloses the bikes inside.

Do the fixing bolts come included?

You can choose the variant with or without fixing bolts, depending on what you already have on site.

Will the galvanised steel rust outdoors?

No - the frame, roof and end panels are all galvanised mild steel, built to resist corrosion in exposed locations.

Does the shelter need a base or hard standing?

Yes - it bolts down onto a hard standing using the flanged leg plates, four bolts per plate.
