What's the difference between this and your Fire Main tape?
This tape is blue and printed CAUTION SPRINKLER PIPE BELOW, for dedicated fire sprinkler supply pipework. Our Fire Main tape is red and printed for general fire main routes, so check the print wording matches the pipe you are marking before you order.

Does this tape have a detectable trace wire?
No, this is a standard warning tape without a built-in detection wire. If you need a tape that shows up on a cable or pipe locator, ask us about our detectable underground tape range instead.

How deep should this go in the trench?
Lay it in the backfill above the pipe, before the final surface layer, so it's the first thing found if the trench is reopened. Follow your project's or the installer's own depth specification.
