Frequently asked questions

Does the EVO Gator need to be filled with water before use?
Yes, for full stability it should be water filled - it holds up to 16 litres per unit. It can also be filled with sand for a more permanent, heavier setup.

Can I connect the EVO Gator to other EVO barriers?
No. The EVO Gator uses its own hook-and-tail connection and is not compatible with other EVO barriers or corner sections - only with other EVO Gator units.

What colours are available?
Red and white as standard. Custom colours are available on request - contact us for details.

Can I increase the height of the barrier line?
Yes. Mini mesh or reflective panels clip onto the EVO Gator to raise the barrier from 500mm up to 1.3 metres.

How much does an empty unit weigh?
4.6kg empty, which keeps handling manageable before filling on site.

Is the EVO Gator suitable for narrow sites?
Yes - at 300mm wide it takes up less space than most water-filled barriers, which is useful where the barrier run itself needs to stay slim.

How do I move the units around site?
Each base has forklift slots, so empty or filled units can be moved and positioned with standard site handling equipment.
