Matt black, for when gloss is wrong
Gloss and matt are not just a look. A gloss surface reflects, which is what you want on a gate that has to be wiped down and not what you want behind a lit display or on the inside of a housing. Matt also hides surface imperfection - the same panel that shows every dent under gloss will look flat and even in matt. Same acrylic base and the same 500ml can as the rest of the range, in a matt finish.

Metal, wood, MDF, ceramic and paint-prepared plastics. Whatever the surface, it needs to be clean, dry and free of loose material first, and bare steel should be primed.

Yes, it is rated for interior and exterior use. Spray in dry conditions and give it time to dry before it takes any weather.

That depends on the colour, the surface and how heavily you spray. Porous surfaces such as bare MDF drink far more than primed steel. For a job of any size, buy a can more than you think you need rather than running out part way.

No RAL is published for the matt black. The gloss black in this range is specified as RAL 9005, but that does not transfer to a different finish, so if you need a matched matt we would rather check with the supplier than guess.
