Frequently asked questions

How many doors does the 2500mm FlamStor cabinet have?

Two. Each sliding door is fitted with its own 5-lever deadlock, and the cabinet comes with 3 keys, so you can split access to either side of the storage.

What stops a leaking container contaminating the ground underneath?

The whole base is welded and tested as a sump, so any leak or spill from a container stays inside the cabinet rather than reaching the ground.

Is it rated for fire resistance?

Yes, it is built to specification for a 30-minute fire rating, which buys time to respond if there is a fire nearby.

How does it stop fumes building up inside?

High and low level vents are built into the cabinet, so fumes from stored liquids and chemicals can escape rather than accumulate.

Can the shelf layout be changed?

Yes, the shelves are fully adjustable, so you can reconfigure both sides to suit drums, cans and containers of different heights.

Can it be moved by forklift once loaded?

The base has forklift pockets and lifting eyes are fitted to the top corners, so it can be moved or positioned with standard site handling equipment.

How much does the empty cabinet weigh?

389kg empty. It is a genuinely heavy unit built from 2mm steel, so plan for mechanical handling when it is delivered and positioned.
