Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the excluding-bolts and including-bolts variants?

Both are the same shelter with flanged base plates for bolting down. The excluding-bolts variant leaves you to source your own ground fixings; the including-bolts variant comes with the bolts supplied.

Is a padlock included with the mesh gates?

No. The mesh gates are lockable, but a padlock is not included - you'll need to supply your own to fit the gate fixings.

What sizes are available?

Every shelter is 2099mm wide, with lengths from 1m to 5m in one-metre steps. Extension bays are sold separately if you need to lengthen a shelter already on site.

How does the shelter protect what's stored inside?

The galvanised sheet roof and side panels cover the back and above, and the curved roof profile sheds rainwater front to back. The mesh gates at the front let air circulate while keeping bins or cycles secure and visible.

How is it fixed to the ground?

The shelter bolts down through flanged base plates measuring 140mm x 140mm x 10mm at each leg.

Does it come assembled?

No, it's supplied for self-assembly on site. The frame, roof and mesh gates are delivered as components to bolt together and fix down.

Can I extend the shelter later?

Yes. Extension bays for the Badby are sold separately and bolt onto an existing shelter to add further length.
