What's the difference between the powder-coated and galvanised post?
The powder-coated post (SKU 085140) is for indoor use only. The hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated post (SKU 085139) adds a corrosion-resistant layer underneath, so it's rated for both indoor and outdoor use.

Each post has four bolted mounting brackets, spaced up the post, so it takes four lateral rails to build a full-depth barrier run.

The post bolts down through a 200 x 200mm, 10mm-thick base plate using four bolts per post. Bolts aren't included - Rawl bolts or through-bolt anchors are available separately depending on your floor.

Can I upgrade it to absorb bigger impacts?
Yes. FLEX shock-absorber pads fit under the rail brackets and let the system deflect up to 10 degrees on impact, cutting damage to the rails and fixings. They add 40mm to the post height and fit with four chemical anchors per post.
