The materials used to produce the 1000mm Melba Swintex road cones are all completely recyclable after they have served their purpose. Being manufactured in two parts, the base is made out of a high-quality mix of recycled PVC. The cone cylinder or conical part of the road cone is blow moulded from HDPE which allows for great customisation abilities of almost any colour.
The 1000mm cones from the Melba Swintex range are one of the only cones available with the kite mark certification, making them the perfect product for almost all public road and private applications.
To make sure that the road cones stay upright they are designed with the majority of the weight being packed into the PVC base, this provides a low centre of gravity for the traffic cone.

To make sure that the road cones are easily visible in both daytime and nighttime conditions they are fitted with the high quality, high performance Starlux sleeves.
Offering great reflectivity from the headlights on cars, bikes and HGVs helps the street cones perform their job of keeping pedestrians and road users safe.

The premium quality R1B standard Starlux reflective sleeve on the 1000mm traffic cone comes glued from factory, offering excellent performance in all weather conditions.
