The E-Mat is a market-leading product that offers effective man-handable access and ground protection on soft or sensitive ground for loads up to 60-80 tonnes
This makes it an essential tool for industries like construction, civil engineering, and groundwork, as well as the festival and outdoor event sectors
The mat is constructed from 100% recycled High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and weighs only 35kg, making it easy to handle and install
It also features strategically positioned hand grips and a highly engineered, unique "non-slip" traction surface, which substantially improves grip and forward motion of vehicles and reduces sideways slippage, even in challenging weather or ground conditions
The mat can be connected with various connection systems, including heavy-duty cable ties or connecting plates, to match different ground and weather conditions and for various temporary access requirements
Its flexible nature allows it to follow the contours of the ground, delivering highly effective access over undulating or sloping conditions
The E-Mat is ideal for both short and long-term projects and has a long lifespan
Additionally, it has a non-slip pedestrian surface on one side of the mats and is available in standard black colour
The mat's applications include ground work sites, temporary roadways, pedestrian walkways, heritage sites, eco-sensitive areas, sports and leisure events, golf course and sports field maintenance, ground protection, emergency access routes, utilities, and infrastructure maintenance
