Do I need the main shelter bay as well?
Yes. This listing is for the extension bay only. You need an existing Newton Open Sided Bike Shelter with Clear PETG Roof main bay to bolt it onto; the galvanised-roof version of the shelter is also available if you want a different roof finish.

What lengths are available?
Extension bays come in 2m, 3m, 4m or 5m lengths, adding 5, 8, 10 or 12 further bike spaces respectively to an existing shelter run.

How is it fixed down?
The bay is supplied flanged for bolting to a hard standing, with 8 fixing points per bay. Fixing bolts are not included, so you will need your own to suit the ground.

What is the frame made from?
The frame is mild steel, hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461, matching the main shelter bay for a consistent finish and long-term corrosion resistance.

Is the roof see-through?
Yes. The roof is a 4mm UV-stabilised PETG clear sheet, which lets daylight through while still keeping bikes covered.

How is it delivered and assembled?
The extension bay is shipped flat packed and goes together on site without specialist lifting equipment, in the same way as the main shelter bay.

Can I mix roof types along one shelter run?
No - match the extension bay to your main bay. If your main bay has a galvanised roof, choose the galvanised-roof extension bay instead of this clear PETG version.
