Frequently asked questions

What is diagram 7518?

It is the standard temporary no parking sign design used on UK roads - this face reproduces it at 600 x 450mm in Class 1 RA1 reflective material.

Do I need the frame, or just the face?

If you already run 600 x 450mm metal sign frames, the face only option clips straight in. Otherwise choose the frame and clips option for a complete sign.

Can I reuse the frame with other signs?

Yes - the clips release in seconds and any of our 600 x 450mm metal faces fit the same frame.

Will it stay put in bad weather?

The frame takes sand bag ballast over its legs, and the zintec and plated steel face handles rain, frost and knocks.

Is it reflective enough for night use?

The face is Class 1 RA1 retroreflective, so it picks up vehicle headlights and stays legible in low light.

What is the lead time?

Both options are dispatched on a 1-5 working day lead time - contact us to confirm timescales on larger quantities.
