Plastic height restriction bar for car parks and overhead access points
The Plastic Height Restriction Bar is a suspended warning bar that gives drivers a visible and physical alert before an oversized vehicle reaches a low overhead structure. Moulded in reflective polyethylene and hung on two galvanised steel chains, it is a straightforward way to mark a height limit on multi-storey car parks, warehouses, airports and construction sites. This listing is the red and white finish; a yellow and black version is also available.
Key features
-
950mm bar, 100mm diameter - a substantial profile that gives drivers a clear physical and visual warning.
-
Reflective finish - keeps the bar visible to drivers in low light and after dark.
-
2m galvanised steel chains - two chains included, adjustable to set the exact hanging height.
-
No sharp edges - moulded polyethylene construction reduces the risk of vehicle damage on contact.
-
2.7kg - light enough for one person to hang and adjust.
-
Two colourways - red and white or yellow and black, to suit your site signage.
Where it is used
- Multi-storey and underground car parks
- Airport access and drop-off points
- Warehouses and distribution yards
- Construction sites with restricted headroom
Installation
The bar hangs from two 2m galvanised steel chains, fixed to a girder, concrete ceiling or other overhead structure. Shorten the chains to position the bar just below the lowest point of the structure, so a driver makes contact with the bar rather than the ceiling. For wider entrances, two bars can be hung side by side to cover the full width.
