Frequently asked questions

What cut resistance rating does the A646 have?

Level D under EN 388, ANSI Cut A4, so higher cut protection than a standard general-purpose glove.

How warm is this glove?

A 7 gauge acrylic thermal liner sits under an HPPE outer layer, rated to EN 511:2006 for cold protection, so it is built for winter and cold-store handling.

Is it heat resistant too?

Yes, EN 407:2020 rated for contact heat, giving protection up to 250°C for 15 seconds' contact.

What colours and sizes are available?

Black or Orange/Black (hi-visibility), in sizes S through to XXXL.

What is the nitrile coating for?

A sandy, double-dipped nitrile coating over the palm and fingers grips securely in wet and dry conditions.

Which colour should I choose for site work?

Orange/Black gives extra visibility on site, while Black suits lower-visibility roles - both carry the same cut, cold and heat ratings.
