Simple to fit and cut

Order cut to size or trim on site with a hacksaw or jigsaw, then fix with the separate clips and clamps.

Three colour options

Green, grey or safety yellow to match the site or mark out pedestrian routes.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need fixing clips, and which ones?

Yes - panels should be secured with the separate fixings. M clips, C clips, J clamps and 45mm square fixing clips for this grating are all available in our GRP range; the right choice depends on what you are fixing the panel to. Contact us if you are unsure.

Can the grating be cut to the size I need?

Yes. Our in-house cutting service supplies bespoke sizes to a tolerance of +/- 5mm. Minor adjustments can also be made on site with a hacksaw or jigsaw fitted with a suitable blade.

What is the difference between the 25mm, 38mm and 50mm versions?

Thickness. This 50mm sheet is the thickest grating in the range, with the 25mm and 38mm versions sold separately. All three share the same GRP construction and gritted surface - tell us about your span and loading and we will point you to the right one.

Is it safe to use around electrical equipment?

Yes. GRP is non-conductive, including around high-voltage electrical equipment, which is one of the main reasons it is specified instead of steel grating.

Which colour should I pick?

Green, grey and yellow are the standard options. Yellow is the usual choice where the grating needs to stand out, such as marked pedestrian routes. Custom colours may be available on request.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Day-to-day cleaning needs only a stiff brush. Use warm water and mild detergent on stubborn dirt, or a pressure washer on a low setting. The grating has a design life of more than 10 years - just inspect it periodically to check the fixings are firm.

How quickly can it be delivered?

Standard sheets are delivered in 1-3 working days across the UK. Cut-to-size orders can take longer depending on the work involved - contact us for a date before ordering if timing is tight.
