Open Mesh GRP Grating 38mm - Overview
The 38mm Open Mesh GRP Grating is a moulded fibreglass floor grating with a resin-coated gritted surface, the mid-thickness option in a range that also includes 25mm and 50mm panels. Non-conductive and resistant to chemicals, rust and UV, it comes in five panel sizes and three colours, cut to size in-house.

What makes the 38mm panel different from the 25mm and 50mm?
All three share the same gritted GRP construction - the 38mm is the mid option, a step up in depth and rigidity from the 25mm panel. If you are unsure which thickness suits your application, ask the team.

Five stocked sizes from 996 x 996mm up to 3660 x 1220mm, each in green, grey or yellow. Custom colours may be available on request.

Can you cut panels to my measurements?
Yes. Our in-house cutting service supplies bespoke sizes with a +/- 5mm tolerance, and minor adjustments can be made on site with a hacksaw or jigsaw with a suitable blade.
How does it grip when wet or oily?
How does it grip when wet or oily?
Tested to BS 7976-2 the surface rates extremely low slip potential in wet and dry conditions and low in oily and greasy conditions, with a coefficient of friction of 72 dry, 68 wet and 63 in oil.

Can it be used near electrical equipment?
Yes. The grating is non-conductive, including for HV electrical, which is one reason it is chosen over steel around live infrastructure.
How do I keep it clean, and how long will it last?
How do I keep it clean, and how long will it last?
Everyday cleaning needs only a stiff brush, or warm water and mild detergent - a pressure washer on a low setting is also fine. Design life is over 10 years with periodic inspection.
