What's the difference between the fixing options?
You can choose the post without fixings if you're bolting your own way, with universal anchor bolts for a permanent fix into tarmac or concrete, or with bitumen floor adhesive for a quicker, adhesive-only fix. All three work with or without the Cats Eye Base.

Both options are available. Without a base, the post fixes directly using the anchor bolt or adhesive option you choose. With the Cats Eye Base, the post twist-locks into a separate 275mm base plate for extra stability and easier replacement if a post is damaged.

The HDPE post is designed to flex under a vehicle impact and spring back upright rather than snap, so it copes with repeated knocks. Heavy or repeated direct impact can still wear the post over time - inspect it periodically and replace if it stops returning fully upright.

460mm suits low-visibility areas like car parks and site boundaries, 750mm is the most common choice for lane separation on roads, and 1000mm gives the most visibility for higher-speed routes or where vehicles need an early warning.

The post has a 1.8mm HDPE wall, which gives it enough rigidity to stand upright in normal conditions while staying flexible enough to bend and recover from vehicle contact rather than crack.
