This base is compatible with our Swinbac, Flexi-cylinder, and Kingpin posts
For light duty applications, a single fixing through the center of the base is adequate for securing it
However, for greater stability in most cases, the base can be fixed at three points
Once anchored to the ground, the post can be easily attached to the base with a straightforward twist-lock mechanism
Installation:
- Position the base onto the surface where it will be installed.
- Use the pre-drilled centre hole or drill through the three marked areas on the base. Note the location on the surface below using the drill.
- Remove the base and continue to drill the holes in the surface.
- Insert the plug, bung, or shield half of the fixing into the hole.
- Replace the base over the hole and insert the screws.
- Tighten the screws.
