How do I decide on a diameter?

There are eleven diameters from 60mm to 219mm. A slimmer post is usually enough to mark a pedestrian route, while a wider one gives a sturdier physical barrier where vehicle contact is more likely.

What's the difference between the fixing types, and does every size come in both?

Bolt-down bollards sit on a flange plate and fix onto existing solid ground with bolts, which are not included. Cast-in bollards have a ragged base set into a concrete foundation for a flush finish. Every diameter, 60mm to 219mm, is available in both fixing types.

How many bolts will I need?

Three bolts for the 60mm-114mm diameters, and four for the 127mm-219mm diameters. Bolts are not included, so order fixings to suit your ground.

How deep does the cast-in base need to go?

The cast-in base sits 400mm below ground in a concrete foundation, with the post standing 1000mm above ground.

Can these take a chain between posts?

Yes. Eyelets for chain attachment can be added on request - tell us the orientation you need before your order is dispatched.

Is this available in a colour other than plain galvanised?
