75mm speed bump kit, made in the UK from recycled PVC
The Speed Bump Complete Kit 75mm is a modular traffic-calming ramp that slows vehicles to 5mph. The taller 75mm profile is built for larger, heavier vehicles, so it suits sites with regular truck, HGV and lorry movements. Each kit is made in the UK from recycled PVC in high-visibility yellow and black, with a chequered anti-slip surface and a reflective cat's eye strip on every section. It bolts straight down to concrete or tarmac, and fixings are included.
Key features
-
Slows vehicles to 5mph - the 75mm profile is designed to calm trucks, HGVs, vans and cars where a firmer speed check is needed.
-
UK made from recycled PVC - moulded in the UK, so it meets sustainability goals while standing up to constant use.
-
High-visibility and reflective - yellow and black sections with a reflective cat's eye strip stay visible day and night.
-
Chequered anti-slip surface - textured grip helps vehicles cross safely in all weather.
-
Bolt-down fixing included - each section bolts to concrete or tarmac through pre-set holes, with fixing bolts supplied.
-
Modular kit, 1m to 10m - mid and end sections combine to build the exact length you need.
Where it is used
The 75mm kit slows larger and heavier vehicles, so it is most often used on industrial estates, business parks, waste and recycling centres, distribution yards, depots and private roads. Anywhere with a high volume of HGVs, trucks or lorries that needs a 5mph limit enforced.
50mm or 75mm - which do I need?
The 75mm kit is the taller profile and enforces a 5mph limit, best suited to sites with larger vehicles such as trucks, HGVs and lorries. The 50mm kit is the all-rounder for a 10mph limit, better suited to cars and bikes at schools, retail parks and shopping centres. Both are the same recycled PVC build.
Cable channel option
The mid sections have a channel underneath that can be used to run and protect a cable or hose across a trafficked area. End sections do not have this channel. If you need the kit for cable protection, our sales team can help you spec it.
How to install
Lay the sections out in position on clean, level ground and mark the fixing points through the holes. Move the sections aside, drill to the required depth, then set the fixings and bolt each section down until it sits firm with no movement. You will need an SDS drill with a masonry bit and a socket to suit the fixings.
