The Defender50 is a heavy-duty water filled barrier crash tested at 50mph (81.3km/h) with fence panels fitted, to BS EN 1317 containment level N1. Made in the UK by Melba Swintex from UV-stable, 100% recyclable polymer, each unit holds 400 litres of ballast and interlocks with the next through a steel tube and two heavy-duty metal plates.

Yes. The barrier with integrated fencing was tested at 81.3km/h (50.51mph) to BS EN 1317 containment level N1. The vehicle did not breach the system, stayed on the correct side and within the CEN box, and did not roll.

Each barrier comes with one steel joining tube, two heavy-duty metal plates and 12 bolts. The plates and tube lock adjacent units into a continuous interlocked line, with 138° of articulation for curves.
