Defender50 50mph Crash Tested Water Filled Barrier

The DEFENDER50 is a heavy-duty barrier system designed for maximum vehicle containment and site safety. It is the only system in its class to be crash tested at 50 mph (81.3 km/h) even with top-mounted fence panels, proving its reliability in real-world impact conditions.

The DEFENDER50 barrier system with integrated fencing was subjected to controlled crash criteria set out in BS EN 1317 Containment level N1.

The DEFENDER50 barrier features a secure connection system using two heavy-duty metal plates and a steel joining tube, creating a strong, interlocked safety line ideal for managing high-traffic areas.

Just 48 barriers are needed to cover 100 metres, making it efficient for large-scale projects. Its modular design allows for quick alignment, locking, and removal, making it perfect for everything from short-term lane closures to long-term site protection.
