A ready-printed instruction for cyclists to continue on foot, on the Melba Swintex Q-Sign A-frame. The 600 x 450mm face is free-standing on its retractable stand, folds flat to 60mm between uses and is made entirely from recycled polypropylene - nothing rusts and nothing tempts scrap thieves.

Where should I position a Cyclists Dismount sign?
At the point riders must get off - the start of the closed lane or narrowed section - with enough sight distance for them to slow and stop safely.

Can it be used on highway schemes?
Yes. It conforms to the requirements of BS 8442:2015 and suits Chapter 8 and Red Book 2013 works when set out to the code of practice.

Do I need to ballast it?
The Q-Sign range is wind-tested with the appropriate ballast weightings - on exposed or windy sites add the sign and barrier ballast weight or ready-filled sand bags.

What is the frame made of?
Fully recycled black polypropylene with no metal parts, so it does not rust, is non-conductive and can stay out for the length of the job.

Is setting it up a two-person job?
