The High Tide Q-Sign is a 600 x 450mm warning sign for roads and car parks that flood on the tide, supplied complete on the Melba Swintex Q-Sign A-frame. Moulded in black fully recycled polypropylene with no metal parts, it shrugs off salt air, folds flat for the van and sets up as a one-person job.

Where should a High Tide sign be placed?
Put it where drivers and pedestrians can still turn back before the flooded section - typically the entrance to a causeway, ford or seafront car park. On the public highway, set it up in line with Chapter 8 and the Safety at Street Works code of practice.

The Q-Sign range is wind-tested and passes with the appropriate ballast fitted. For exposed spots we supply polypropylene sand bags and the Melba Swintex Q-Sign Weight, a ballast made to fit the frame.

No. The sign is 100% polypropylene with no metal parts, so there is nothing to rust - it can live outside through the tide cycle and has no scrap value to attract theft.

Each sign folds completely flat to 60mm deep and stacks, so a batch palletises neatly - 50 signs fit on a single pallet.
