Why it works

Built for wet weather
No metal parts to corrode - the polypropylene frame stands in rain and spray without deteriorating.
Warns before the water

Meets the road-sign rules
Conforms to BS 8442:2022, Chapter 8 and the Red Book 2013 when set out to the code of practice.
Up in seconds, no tools
The built-in retractable stand flips out and the 5.3kg frame stands free on the carriageway.
Fully recycled build
Made entirely from recycled polypropylene, with no scrap value to tempt thieves during a long deployment.

Frequently asked questions
When should High Water go out rather than a closure sign?
When should High Water go out rather than a closure sign?
High Water warns that standing water lies ahead while the route may still be passable with care. If the road is impassable, use a closure sign instead - your flood response plan decides which applies.
Can it stay out for days at a time during a wet spell?
Can it stay out for days at a time during a wet spell?
Yes. The frame is 100% polypropylene with no metal parts, so it does not rust and has no scrap value, meaning it can be left in place overnight and through extended flood warnings.
Does it need tools to set up?
