The end piece completes a run of the medium 5-channel cable protection ramp, supplied as a female and male section that closes off each end of the channel run. Moulded from a vulcanised rubber compound, it is rated to an 8-tonne axle load and fixes permanently via moulded-in anchor bolt recesses.

Do I need one of each end section?
Yes. The range is supplied as a female and male pair (SKUs 099016 and 099017), one for each end of the run, so they lock together with the rest of the ramp.

Each end piece has moulded-in anchor bolt recesses for a permanent fixing. Anchor bolts are supplied separately, or the ramp can be laid loose for temporary use.

The end piece carries the same 5 channels as the rest of the run, each with a 38 x 35mm duct, so it takes the same cable or hose count without narrowing the run.

The rubber body is rated to an 8-tonne axle load, so it takes traffic up to HGV weight. It is not designed for concentrated point loads such as a jack or stabiliser leg.

Can I fit an angled section into the same run?
Yes. The end piece is compatible with the medium 5-channel angled piece and middle sections from the same range, so you can build a run with a turn in it.

We recommend warning signage and a 5mph speed limit wherever the ramp crosses a vehicle route, in line with normal site traffic management.
