Does the Stanton shelter have walls or doors?

No. It's an open-sided canopy - just the frame and clear roof - so you get covered parking without walls, with access from both sides. Cycle stands are fitted underneath separately.

Why is the roof clear instead of solid?

The 4mm PETG roof is UV-stabilised and lets natural daylight into the shelter while still keeping rain and wind out, so the parking area doesn't feel enclosed or dark.

How many bikes does it hold?

Capacity runs from 5 bikes at 2m up to 12 bikes at 5m, though this depends on the cycle stands fitted underneath.

Is the frame galvanised?

Yes, the mild steel frame is finished to BS EN ISO 1461, the British and European standard for hot-dip galvanised coatings.

Do the fixing bolts come with it?

The base spec doesn't include bolts, but you can choose the including-bolts variant if you'd rather not source your own 16mm fixings separately.

Can I embed the legs directly into the ground instead of bolting down?

Ragged-leg ends for ground embedment are available on request rather than the standard flanged base - contact us to arrange this option.
