Frequently asked questions

What heights does the flexi cylinder come in?
460mm, 750mm and 1000mm, all 100mm in diameter. Each height is sold with or without the Cats Eye base and with a choice of fixings, giving 18 combinations across the range.

What happens when a vehicle drives over it?
The LDPE post flexes flat, absorbs the impact and returns upright on its own. There are no elastic cords or rivets inside, so there is nothing to snap or replace after a strike.

Can I use it on public highways?
Yes. The post meets BSEN13422, The Red Book 2013 and Chapter 8, and the Starlux sleeve provides the reflectivity those standards call for.

How do I fix it to the road?
Choose universal anchor bolts or a bitumen floor adhesive pad, or fit the posts to the Cats Eye base - secure the base first, insert the cylinder and twist 90 degrees, then lock it with a pilot hole and a 35mm or longer self-tapping screw.

How heavy is it?
The posts weigh 0.5kg (460mm), 0.7kg (750mm) and 0.9kg (1000mm), and the black PVC base weighs 1.4kg, so one person can carry and place several at a time.

Is it only available in orange?
Orange with the reflective sleeve is standard. Custom colours are available on request, subject to a minimum order quantity.
