Does the post survive being hit by a vehicle?
Yes - it moves through 360 degrees on impact and pulls itself back upright afterwards, so there is nothing to replace after a typical strike.

What is the difference between this and the portable Swinbac post?
This version fixes to the ground with the Cats Eye base, using anchor bolts or a bitumen adhesive pad. The portable Swinbac post uses a heavier self-weighted Defiance base instead, so no fixings are needed.

What heights are available?
460mm, 750mm and 1000mm, all 100mm in diameter - choose the height that gives the visibility and site clearance you need.

How do I fix the base down?
Universal anchor bolts or a bitumen floor adhesive pad, or order without fixings if you already have a method. Once the base is down, the post twists 90 degrees into place and locks with a self-tapping screw through a pre-drilled pilot hole.

Is it compliant for use on public roads?
Yes - the reflective sleeve meets BSEN13422, and the post meets The Red Book 2013 and Chapter 8.

What is the post made from?
The post is high density polyethylene with a Black PVC Cats Eye base, and a Starlux pocketed prismatic reflective sleeve for day and night visibility.

Can I get it in a colour other than orange?
Orange with the reflective sleeve is standard. Custom colours are available on request.
