Each plate has a hinged flap that lowers flat as a vehicle drives over it in the permitted direction, then springs back upright. The raised flap makes it obvious - and physically awkward - to drive over the wrong way.

Each plate bolts straight onto existing hard-standing with 6 x M12 Rawl bolts, so there's no concrete excavation to dig out - useful where a permanent ground submerged installation isn't practical.

No. This plate is rated to one tonne per axle and is not suitable for Heavy Goods Vehicles.

Plates install side by side in groups to give full lane-width coverage - the number needed depends on the width of the lane or entrance on site.

We recommend a staggered layout rather than a straight line - it spreads vehicle loading more evenly and reduces wear, though vehicles should still drive straight over each plate rather than turning on top of it.
